Marijuana users can be commonly heard saying that the effects of their habit are minimal and the drug should be legalized.
Some say it isn't even a drug. Well, whether it is or it isn't, studies have surfaced proving that marijuana effects the gums of our mouth.
In fact, pot smokers face many of the same health consequences that tobacco users do, such as an increased risk of heart disease.
Only now do researchers approve that the nasty habit destroys gum tissue and increases chance by three times for developing serious gum disease.

There are no negative effects, and any "studies" which may come up are coming from people no better than the pharmaceutical companies, who are trying to keep marijuana illegal simply for their own benefit of profiting off of the people by introducing nasty chemicals which cause more harm than good. If marijuana was legalized, the whole balance of the economy would shift, because less people would turn to terribly unhealthy habbits such as alcohol, and simply smoke some weed.
If there is any proof of gum disease or lung disease, it's a fact that it's not because of the plant itself, but because of the methods of taking in the THC. However, gladly, California, has grown some balls, to put it explicitly, and has taken the first step to making this world a better place with allowing patients to benefit from the effects of marijuana.
It might not seem like much, but in the blinded society that we all live in, it is a big step. Thanks to this semi-legalization, the have developed new ways of ingesting THC such as a vapourizer. This method of ingesting THC is simply the healthiest way, without any actual smoke entering the lungs, it is preventative of lung disease or any other conditions which may blindly be blamed on the plant itself.
In addition, many see marijuana as bad because they blame crime on it. Crime isn't the fault of marijuana, but the fault of our own useless government, which are just as greedy as pharmaceutical companies. The very law which makes marijuana illegal is the same law which is to blame for any crime involving marijuana. If it were legalized, there would be no crime involving weed, simply because if it wasn't illegal, many people would grow their own.
Some say that it should be legalized and as an added incentive allow it to be regulated, but this is also not the right way. Regulating it with taxes will be no different in terms of sales. If you can get it cheaper, then wouldn't you? Taxing marijuana will have no effect on the black market, where marijuana can be purchased without taxation.
Legalize it, do not regulate it, allow for easy sale of vapourizers to the general public (which can be taxed to satisfy the money hungry government), and the world will be a much better place. When has someone died under the influence of marijuana? Never. When has someone died under the influence of alcohol? Thousands every year, and half the time, someone not under the influence of anything can be seriously injured, crippled, or killed by someone who is drunk. For example, drunk driving.
Anyone under the influence of marijuana, is much more focused and in tune with themselves, we know when we can and can't handle driving, and if we can't we don't go and blindly get behind the wheel of a vehicle. Some may even be slightly still high, but more than capable of driving.
From personal experience, I have driven high, knowing I wasn't fully under the influence, but would check out as still having THC in my system, I drove. It was by far the most pleasurable expirience I have had driving, all the while being fully concious and aware of what was going on around me.
I have never driven drunk, and I never plan on doing something as stupid as that, so I can't give an honest comparison. To finish off, I want to concentrate on the readers which still think that marijuana is addictive.
Marijuana is far from addictive. Not a single bit of scientific evidence, or at least non-bias evidence, has ever been found to prove marijuana posses any addictive chemical. What more proof do you need, because if that isn't enough, just talk to any one of the millions of people who enjoy smoking weed, whether it be only on special occasions or if it's a thing you do when you gather together with your friends on weekends. If it was addictive, would people be able to stay away from it for such long periods of time such as special occasions? Obviously not. Can an alcoholic stay away from legal booze? No. Oh wait, booze is regulated by the government, most if not all profits go to them, AND it's legal, AND can lead to being dependant on it (Alcoholism). Coincidence?... I highly doubt it.
To finish off, please, don't discredit pot smokers or call them idiots before you even get a chance to know them, it is quite possible that your very neighbours whom you're polite to and friends with, may smoke weed.
PS. I too smoke weed, and as soon as I am able to get ahold of a vapourizer, I will glady invest in one. Do I seem like an idiot to you? Did I at any point in this rant ask for money by selling you something you don't really need? No. When's the last time I smoked weed? Last week. No addiction, no greed, no stress. I have seen many non-weed smoking people, living stressed out to the max, living a daily scheduled life, on the borderline to depression, and I fully guarantee, if these people were able to get their hands on a simple non expensive medicine that will help you live life, it would save another set of millions of people. I'm not saying, quit your jobs, smoke some weed and enjoy life. That is pointless, but I am saying, to help maintain your life if you have a very stressful one, and even if you don't, smoke some weed, and see that it does help you.
God made weed.
Man made beer.
In God we trust.
